Dr. Jeff Higbee

Pediatric dentist Dr. Jeff Higbee Dr. Jeff Higbee was born in Salt Lake City, UT and raised in Cedar City, UT. He attended Southern Utah University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. His dental school training was completed at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD degree.

After dental school, Dr. Higbee completed his 2-year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Saint Joseph’s Hospital for Specialty Care in Providence, Rhode Island, where he served as chief pediatric dental resident during the final year of his training. During his specialty training, Dr. Higbee enjoyed treating patients from all over the world and especially enjoyed working with patients with special health care needs including those with cleft lip and palate, autism, down syndrome and many others conditions. When Dr. Higbee is not in the dental clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, wife and 4 children. He loves the outdoors, baseball and basketball. He also loves being active in the community and coaching youth sports.

Dr. Trent Pryor

Pediatric dentist Dr. Trent Pryor Dr. Trent Pryor was raised in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Cedar High School. He obtained his pre-dental requirements at Southern Utah University. Dr. Pryor received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007 Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. He then completed his 2-year Pediatric Specialty, Dental Residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2009.

Dr. Pryor grew up coaching youth sports programs and knew he wanted to be a positive influence in the life of children for the rest of his life. When not in the office, Dr. Pryor enjoys spending time with his wife Holly and their 3 children, competing in triathlons, playing basketball, golf and basically any other sporting activities.

Dr. Pryor belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Idaho State Board of Dentistry and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Sean Schexnayder

Pediatric dentist Dr. Sean Schexnayder Dr. Sean Schexnayder grew up in Cedar City Utah. He attended Southern Utah University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While attending dental school he realized that he would love to work in pediatrics so he was accepted into the Pediatric Dental program at the Temple University Hospital where he completed two years of specialty training.

Dr. Schexnayder enjoys being back in Utah and being close to his family and friends. He and his wife Charise have one son, Ayden. They love spending time together traveling and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Jonathan Hanks

Pediatric dentist Dr. Jonathan Hanks Richfield Kids Dental is excited to introduce Dr. Jonathan Hanks as a new Dentist to their practice, to better serve the Central Utah community and offer more convenient scheduling options.

Dr. Jonathan Hanks grew up in Utah and is excited to be back. He was raised in Mapleton, Utah, and comes from a large family. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in San Antonio. He gained experience practicing as a general dentist for two years where he learned that treating and helping children was his favorite. Dr Hanks then attended a two-year pediatric dental residency in San Antonio, Texas. During residency he gained valuable experience in treating special needs patients, sedation and hospital dentistry. Dr. Hanks is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

For the past eight years Dr. Hanks has practiced Pediatric Dentistry in Texas and Wisconsin but he has always considered Utah his home.

Dr. Hanks and his wife Callie have four fantastic children and they love spending time together especially when it involves the outdoors. They are very excited to be a part of the Sevier Valley community.
